thinking about the FUTURE.

No not the university, IB kind of future. Just what's gonna happen soon.
you know why?

BECAUSE I have FINISHED WITH MY FUCKING JOB. I AM DONE!
No more waking up at 8 in the morning, NO MORE serving bitchy people. And more. But I'm lazy to think of what I dont have to do anymore. HAHAHA. So now guys, we can all go out.

Aww but I shall miss the people there. And.. I must say, punching the numbers in the cash machine thing. God I loved that. And all the nice people. And the adorable little kids. Especially that little girl who blew kisses at everyone. She was tiny and she was SO CUTE.

So since I'm done, I'm going out with people tomorrow. I want to go look at shoes and such! There's a few things I've reserved around and about. I cant WAIT! I haven't seen Nabilah since prom! I miss her! Silly girl's leaving me and Amirah for London, to join our husband. (Ben Barnes) Secretly, hush hush guys, Ben just wishes it were me going instead. SIGH. This is exactly how cruel life can be. HAHAHA what the fuck.

Anyway, I feel great :D despite everything that has been thrown my way, I have PUSHED IT ASIDE. Actually, I rugby tackled it and kicked it in the balls. Hahahahah I only wish, or hope I did. THE PESSIMIST IS LOOKING FORWARD TO TOMORROW! :D

Now I will promise you all some pictures tomorrow.
I'm hatching a kidnapping event (Nabilah) with Amirah soon. With the element of Surprise.
Isnt it all so exciting? :) Nah not really AHHA but least I like it.

Also hatching a new diet (not to lose weight or anything, coz that doesnt bother me anymore) to improve our health (amirah and I). Shit I've been eating popmee and canned food recently. Munching on candy and sipping soft drinks during work is done on a regular basis. Hmm.. not the best eating habit.

Toast (of water for now) TO NEW CHANGES!

cause I really do.

I'm very content today. I have no idea why, I've actually been thinking very positively. A huge shock seeing that I'm usually a big pessimist.

I think I'll actually miss work. I dont know why. Shit, it is true. Work hard to earn your money.

I'm actually playing Checkers with Rais. HAHA I suck at Checkers. I prefer Minesweeper Flags. Man I thought I had the upper hand in the game but turns out Rais will get that King checker thing. God I hate this game. I dont even know what a King thing can do. I should've never accepted the stupid game. MAN. THIS GAME ROCKS NOW, (only when I play with Rais) I just killed all his people but his one only King and i still have three checkers left. WOOOO OWNED.

I'm psyched for this weekend. Finally, FREEE to do whatever I want to (not really). Anyone else going to the Pusat Ehsan thing this sunday? :)

God I'm being random. At least I posted! I cant wait to keep myself busy next week. Gymming anyone? :) Isnt there that 3day free trial thing at Fitness Zone? I haven't even been to the Kiulap one. How sad. It seems like everyone's exercising there. I WANT TO JOIN IN!

Heh heh. Lame. Shit, tomorrow will be an awkward day. JEAN, ANN SAVE ME.
I cant wait to hang out with people next week. Just get through another two days.
I'm seriously considering the States for uni. Hmm..

BYE! SEE YOU ALL IN A FEW DAYS! :D

you silly obstacle.

I'm liberated! A burden has been lifted. I am FREE.
Like the shirt at Ego Attitude, 'without you, I'm nothing'
True, without you girls? I'm NOTHING. I LOVE YOU. <3
I'm being emotional, yet I'm really high.

So girls movie night out tmrw? :)
So where should I go this winter? Canada? Perth? Melbourne?
Or perhaps Perth and Melbourne this Christmas, and Canada for the whole of next summer :) god that sounds so tempting. Back with May and Yvonne for christmas (hopefully I can go and Jean can come too) and back with Allen and Momo and all my friends back in BC. Gee all those times two years ago, hitching rides to Richmond, playgrounds, strolls around at night, go-karting, being sad tourist-like people. God I miss you guys so bad. Especially 'Dip' and 'Double-Bum'.

AND PERTH WITH MAY. I miss you maymay! What is yoyo to do without maymay and her lovely bearhugs! I vil visit you soon and maybe see how this Angela girl is. HAAHAHAH. I pity you, your friends, and her. SIGH I'm indecisive. Then we can go shimmy around Perth and walk around and laugh at all the silly people. Wow, that sounds so mean. HAHAHA it isnt, really! yum yum, and we can make our own jokes and laugh between ourselves. Show our own sense of humour. AND RED SKINS. I'll bring you nice DVDs too :) Pirated clear ones because Perth is too slow in the cinemas and rips you off with real ones that you might only watch like 5 times.

Yvonne, you know you all are #1 of my #1's. sheesh, promise. $100's worth. NOVEMBER 19TH. The day my wallet is going to go on a crash-diet. Loose all its weight. OF MONEY. Toast to all those ex history days and make way for new ones. Cant wait to be able to come and fool around on the streets of MELBOURNE. this good enough for you VON? Or you should come back so I can brainwash all of your demanding-ness out of your head. ;) Negative #1 is for you.

It feels like Christmas has come early. Thank you all for being the spark of my realisation.
Not Christmas maybe, HAPPY EARLY HANNUKA!
(what the fuck is hannuka anyway)
I feel completely elated. On a real high today.

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONGWEE! :D
we'll be extremely offended if you dont invite us all to your birthday by the way. HAHAAH. jokes jokes. have a great day, and I'll see you soon hopefully!

See you girls tomorrow :)
P.S. I see the firecrackers Maymay! Sexy sexy.

so how was that for starters?

I went to Empire today with Jean and Min. Turns out Kai, Bea, Aaron, Amanda and Isa were there too. So they went to the ATV while Jean, Min and I went down to the waves. The wind was crazy! It was so strong but means the waves were bigger and better.

Swam, ran, and everything. Then we went kayaking and it was Isa, me and Bea first. Isa in the front leaving ME to paddle. Sheesh, and bea at the end. SOO tiring. Silly, then Isa was trying to shake the boat deliberately and we all toppled over. It was the funniest thing seeing Aaron and Jean's kayak flip over though. Priceless :) But we got caught RED HANDED. HAAH lame, no lah. Stupid lifeguard caught us. Then we ditched Isa to leave him paddling alone. hahahahaha but Bea and I hung on for a ride. HAHA. Stupid lifeguard.

Plus that other dude that worked there who was so bitchy. Jean, min? You know who. Lets avoid him the next time. Haahahah or say you're with your parents. Or sisters.HAHA.

We played Beach volleyball too, split into even teams. Jean, Amanda, Bea and Aaron VS Kai, Isa, Min and I. It was uneven because of the wind but Kai and Isa dominated our side anyway. I just like to serve. HAHA. I HATED chasing for the ball though! The wind just kept blowing the ball further and further away that you have to work to catch up with it.

I've finally gotten TANNER, after being cooped indoors for so long. I have gotten my tan back :D
what a good day. we must, must, must have another one of those soon. :)

Pictures on facebook! Though I do wish I took some more. Like some of us kayaking and volleyballing. And beach-ing. HAHA.

the deep beautiful melancholy of everything that's happened.

I suppose today was fun. I finally got to see Siew and Sarah today at gadong. I've missed them! And MEL A couldnt come. Sheesh. ahahaaha jokes.

We ate at Swensens after wandering around, ooh and Happy Birthday Audrey! :):):)
Anyway, ice cream was good. So were the marshmellows. It was hilarious, Sarah went to put the cherry stalk in her mouth to tie a knot, so she threw it in after saying 'I'm gonna tie a knot' or something and she started choking so hard on it. It was HILARIOUS. Brandon can do it in 9 seconds, woah. Pro Brandy! But why couldn't your sister come! :(

8 of us went to watch Dark Knight, it was the second time for most of them but I swear, its amazing. what a great movie. Heath played the role of the Joker so well! He was terrifying! And Christian Bale, oh wow when he was changing in the beginning and when he took his shirt off. *GASP* I mean, WHY oh WHY couldn't the camera just go that much lower.

I loved it when Heath started laughing like that, it was hilarious. And in that nurse's outfit? I know his laughter's meant to have like chills down your spine, but the girls next to me just made me start burst out laughing. Just a little embarrassing. I'm so shocked that Rachel (Maggie Gyllenhaal died though, didnt expect that. But she's not pretty enough for Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), I actually find that whole Batman voice really cool. HAHAHA. His real voice is sexy enough anyway. God all those cuts and grazes on his back? Woah, rugged. I like.

Apparently Edison Chen's in that movie, but where! I wouldnt mind watching it again, the movie's brilliant anyway. Heath better get a nomination for this role, and he better win it. Its true, the movie did drag on a little. But I guess I dont mind, so long as all of the scenes and parts are compelling to watch. No complaint there. Pictures are finally up on facebook.

I'm exhausted. But I dont want to sleep.
Maybe I should watch some movie or show. I still havent watched Made of Honor?!?!
I'll go, bye! To sunday splash, or not sunday splash tomorrow.

come on, HIT ME!

Not literally.

Ooh back at work, back to Brunei. And it amazes me to see the comparison between Hongkong traffic and Brunei's traffic. I swear, Brunei feels so quiet now compared to the continuous honking and shouting and scolding from the cars and their drivers.

Just some pictures at work, we were being silly. Its on facebook. I'm lazy to post pictures up now.
I wonder if I should go to the sunday splash today or not.
I also wonder if I should wear any of my new stuff or not,
Or if I should wait for school.
I also also wonder what I should do tomorrow.
I'm wondering yet again if Dark Knight has a good time on its showing.

SEX IN THE CITY IS OUT IN CINEMAS HERE!
I've already watched it but means I can watch it in better quality.
Amirah? Nabilah? Up for a movie? :)
Bye! I'll stop wondering.

more time to prepare myself for the impact.

I'm back tomorrow!
I ate at Delifrance today, and they have this promotion thing thats called 'Delifrance Le Summer', the Dessert Series. And the slogan is 'This Summer. French kissing has never been sweeter'. I'm like thinking 'wth, I dont get it. What do desserts have to do with french kissing!?' But anyway, it was quite good.

I bought some candy for you guys today. I might eat it during work with my working friends/people though. Sorry. Hahaha I'll save some sour ribbon for you guys hopefully. But there's always my second trip back to HongKong to stop by for more candy. Gosh, CALORIES. Oh well. Hahahah least I stop work soon so I can go swimming or something. I miss basketball! :( Anyone up for a game sometime?

Ooh and this candy thing really stood out. In not so much of a good way. It looks like a carrot but then when you see the other colour, it looks like sperm. Dude who would make candy that looks like that. Stick to gummy worms and sour ribbon! And bananas and dolphins and stuff like that. Innocent things! Like the candy shaped like eggs, though I'm not very fond of those.

GIANT MOONCAKE! And its real, I broke off a tiny little piece because I thought it was fake. It is MASSIVE.

the meteor that shot through my sky.

I'm back to the shores of Hongkong and I met up with ann an hour later. We just walked around, tried long dresses (they make you look taller :O), and bought a few things. But we ran out of money. I spent $29 hongkong just on a tiny cup of Ben & Jerry's, but it was orgasmic. It was so good, I forgot what flavour I had though. :( I love love love Ben & Jerry's. I just wished it wasnt so expensive. Hahahah.

I'm still awed by last night's show, 'amazing' is truly an understatement.
Hmm.. I was also wondering, why does everyone wear those big glasses, like spectacles. But big ones, like raybans except black and have them as glasses. It makes some people look super super nerdy. And on others, it looks quite good. Is it some sort of strange trend in hongkong?

Anyway, today we ate sushi. Loads of salmon and stuff, then we ordered this pizza thing, and I ate all the scallops because Ann doesnt like seafood. So many scallops. The freaking sushi place made us both broke. SIGH.

And we met this family on the train, this little girl from Africa called Makdulah or something. And her baby sister. They were adorable! Their skin was so smooth, and everything. Huge eyes. It was fun, we just played with them on the train and stuff. At first, the mother was a little intimidating on the phone with someone else but when she started talking to us, she seemed really nice.

My 2nd aunt made us cheesecake and tiramisu. I loved the tiramisu, the cheesecake was really good too. The perfect balance between too sweet and not sweet enough. Gosh I love blueberries, its so annoying how you cant get fresh ones here in brunei. And if you can, they're TINY. I swear, the ones we just picked in Canada were MASSIVE. And it tasted so good

How's everything in Brunei?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICKI. I MISS YOU. HAVE FUN IN PORTUGAL! (if you go) And you must must must tell me how it goes :) LOVE YOU!

loose lips sink ships.

Yaaayy I went on the CRUISE today, called Virgo or something. I'M A VIRGO. God I'm being so lame today. It's pretty big, lester and I got lost. And only coincidently found my mom as well. I mean, I dont understand how I couldve gotten lost if I just went down two flights of stairs til a floor that had a big number on it '10' which was where my mom was meant to be. I waited in front of the lift, and no mom.

There, the food. It was a free 4 course meal. I swear, I couldnt finish it all. I guess it looks good, but it didnt exactly taste as good as it looks. OOH and there was this waiter I saw that came out of this lift, it was like.. a giant ISHAN! I SWEAR THE FACE AND EVERYTHING. ISHAN'S LONG LOST GIANT TWIN!

I watched two shows todaay, exactly the same but even on the second show, I still found it AMAZING. It's a whole series of acts, dances and performances all intertwined to form this amazing show. Dancers from Brazil and Belarus, acrobats from China, Mike Michaels the magician from Las Vegas and more. And they also had this rollerskater duo, and all those spins and flips. Holy shit, I have never feared for anyone else's life as much as I feared for theirs and the acrobats. The show was phenomenal. Jaw-dropping. Too bad I couldnt take any pictures.

I took some pictures of the view (like Rid asked me to) and here you go. Hong Kong. And it's night, and day, lights.

when we set sail.
what a dark looking sunset.
this was actually a while after we set off. The ship was moving so fast, and my camera disappointed me :(
Ahh this one's better.
Be back soon!
Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY NYSE! I hope your party went well :D

the dark tint of sunglasses.

Ooh I met up with Ann today. We went to Lady's Market in Mongkok, Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong, and Sham Shui Po to wander around, and Causeway Bay to go to this street. WHERE I BOUGHT THIS SCARF. I have no idea when I'm going to wear that in Brunei. Rainy day? Quite a bit of shopping today, not as much as Day 1 but it'll do :)

love this iced tea drink.

Met at Festival Walk first and dropped by at MNG to see if my cousin was working that day then went to H&M. Ann bought this cute pale pink jacket and I got a new pair of sunglasses. H&M's actually a lot cheaper that Topshop! But I wanted HK to have topshop so badly :( there were so many things online that I wanted to find at topshop!

So then after, at Lady's Market in Mongkok, we were wandering around and I swear, we saw SO many tourists. The sun was literally burning my skin. I tried to find shelter under Ann's umbrella but failed because of how troublesome it was trying to avoid hitting people's head with the umbrella. Nearly bumped into this dude when I wanted to cross over to see something and he gave me the most strangest 'wtf''-ish type look. I dont know, I cant tell what the expression was. Hahaa anyway, it was so embarrasing. Haha so we tried to avoid his group as much as possible. And some of the shops there have like thongs hanging everywhere from the ceiling or the sheet draped over the store. Its like Thong Heaven. There were quite a few shops like those. A few of the thongs were so weird. Disturbing. Other shops had kinky costumes etc. So not like Singapore, in Bugis Street, we went in because Jo wanted to buy condoms for Nicki as a joke but we got kicked out because we kept sniggering.

we got a map for fun. hahahahaThong Heaven!

Dropped by at 'Wongkok Zhong Sam'. I just found out that its called Argyle Center, what a weird name, Argyle. Arrrgyle. Why not just Mongkok Center? How much much simpler. Anyway, Ann bought this cute checkered dress and I bought my own cherry print dress. Weee all these new stuff for school. Makes me all giddy with excitement, NO MORE UNIFORM. I'm still a little indecisive, should I be all melodramatic and burn it? Or should I keep it out of nostalgia.

Oh and I forgot to add, we went to the book store in Festival Walk and I dont know why, but I felt so intrigued, like its the first time I've seen so many Vogue's? Italian, Indian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, British, American. INDIAN? I never knew there was an Indian Vogue. But it felt nice to see so many familiar faces on the covers; Naomi, Claudia Schiffer, Lily Donaldson etc.

Then on the way to dinner, THE TRAIN STOPPED HALFWAY. Man, we thought there was soemthing wrong with the train. So weird.

Street in Causeway Bay

Then at night, went out to dinner with my two aunts, one uncle, cousin, mom and ann. Shanghai food, was gooooood. Especially this thing. Hahaha so descriptive. Ann and I ate quite a bit of it, it tasted great.Bathroom was so pretty! How randomThis sticky thing tasted so good.
The 'tang yuan' looked like eyeballs. Had sesame stuff in
I love Ann's new jacket! From H&M ;)

ANYWAY, I'm bored so I'll finish this post now. Bye!

magnification

Day 2.

I LOVE the strawberries here, they are MASSIVE. Like in Brunei, its like $8 to buy a little box of tiny strawberries. Over here, its $40+ hongky money but in brunei money its about the same. $7 brunei with a HUGE box of strawberries that are more than twice the size of normal "brunei" ones.

I didn't do much shopping today because I had to do some passport stuff but at the building, they have these round people things (i'll post picture below later) that you can take a picture with for your passport thing. AND YOU CAN SEE YOURSELF IN THEM. So you know how you look etc. They're cute, I wished I used them when I renewed my passport recently. Damn it.

Map of Fushan or something.

And there's this bridge connected to the building and I used to be scared when I walked on it because there used to be all these beggars, people with limbs chopped off, old people on the floor begging for money. And I'd love to give them all a bit of money, like loose change but I've always heard these stories of fake beggars. So how would you know? I had no idea whether I should ignore them or give them money or something.

Anyway, lester and my aunt went to play that coin dropping thing at the arcade. Won 6000 tickets in an hour. Have no idea how they managed that :O

Happy 1year 7 months anniversary babe. I love you! Your wife beaters are so annoying to find though, HAHA. I miss you already.

Gosh the food is amazing here, I am going to get sooo much fatter.
So I'm promising myself, no candy, no soft drinks, no fried food.

Two hours later, I ate a fruit-tip. Shit. It was too good to resist :(

Tuesday, July 15, 2008

fly high.

Oooh cool, I'm in hongkong and I'm posting behind time. Like it's actually Monday but I'm posting as if its last tuesday. So what happened on Tuesday.

Happy birthday to our sultan!
How cool, I even got a free cake in this cool little box. Square chocolate cake, with a twinge of gold on the chocolate icing. Glitter perhaps? And it tasted really good too. The chocolate was really rich and it was so good compared to all the other things they have on the tray.

Okay, I was walking to the escalator at the MTR and there was this girl in this miniskirt with a belt, and shit her whole asscrack was showing. I was thinking, like DUDE PULL UP YOUR SKIRT. then we went up the escalator, she was a few steps up. She was short-ish and this worker guy was standing behind her and her ass was like right in his face and he was just oogling there. I was like, that is so sick.

Then my family and I were in the taxi and at the traffic lights, there were all these fire trucks just went through the red light because they had first priority. I found it interesting that people in hongkong actually listened, that there were no cars AT ALL came in their way. Like, their journey went so smoothly, no cars at all blocked them at all.

OOH and ANGIE'S TWINS, their names are so pretty! Okay, and what are the chances of getting a boy AND a girl for the twins. Baby boy's called Knox Leon, girl's called Vivienne Marcheline. What gorgeous names. All the names of all the Jolie-Pitt kids are lovely. I cant believe that people would bid so high for mere pictures of the twins.

that bump in the corner makes it look like the cake has a pimple.
Poor mom, trying to read lester's book about some war stuff.

leaving a little bit of me behind with you.

Hey! Tomorrow, I'm off to HONGKONG. So I probably wont be blogging for a while, unless if I head over to my aunt's house or Ann's house. But I doubt my aunt's internet will be fixed seeing as my uncle hasnt been clicking on me recently. Maybe he's just given up on MSN or just given up coming online. SO I will miss some of you. Hahahahahahaha especially Jon because I only saw a bit of him today :( which is not fair but life isnt fair. SIGH (so emo).

But I'll bring some stuff back for you people :) in the form of candy, especially for amirah because I'm making it harder for her to lose the pounds she CLAIMS she's gained. Muahahahahahahah. And I will call you all when I get back :) But Jon first. Right baby? And I will get you a little extra something of course! But wednesday's for you okay? Then so is the weekend, because it is probably going to be the first weekend UNEMPLOYED! Gosh that sounds so weird. I CANT WAIT!

I'll take some pictures, plus I'm meeting Ah Lau (Ann/Man). Or Anisa. Fia. Or Ramirez. I dont know, but yay! I havent seen that girl/boy in ages! I see she's been swearing more lately ;) WOOAHH okay, I'm going to investigate. And we're going SHOPPING. For things that I'm sure my mom wont let me buy. Like a bikini for instance. HAHA. THEN I'M ALL SET FOR THE NEXT SUNDAY SPLASH! WOOO.

I will miss you babe!

hold me, hold me wont you?

Oops, I forgot to post pictures from yesterday. But I figured I might as well make a new post instead of edit the old one. Today hasnt been the best day, but I guess yesterday made up for it. Although, yesterday wasnt that great if you accounted for things happening before and after the outing. Why does life do this to me! Oh gosh, what a dumb question. Anyway, pictures :)

me and the girlies :)
Rais is 80% girl so this is just the girls table ;)
Yaahh, best friends!
Ooh and as you can see, Min LOST to the boys. Hahhahaha loser ;)

all for you, my daisy.

I just finished watched PS I Love You, and I love it. It seriously ignited the waterworks. I really liked the soundtracks, they were so soothing. There's so many that make me feel so content just hearing them. And I loved Gerard Butler's accent. They looked so great together. It was so sweet. Definitely one of my favourite movies. Its like I could feel some of the pain she felt. Holly that is, played by Hilary Swank. The phrase, 'I want to be someone's Gerry', was just so touching. I think it could be nearly as big as 'I want to be someone's Edward'. Except Gerry's more real, Edward is just so up high in the league that he's plain fantasy. Thats too bad. It's okay, I've got Jon :)

I cant believe I waited this long to watch it. I loved so many scenes, like when she sang for him at the Karaoke Night. That was so sad, but the first time she sang to him when he dared her? I swear, that look of adoration in his eyes was indescribable. My heart just dropped. Oh and that time where the dog came then he tricked her and she found out as well? SO cute. And I love ALL the letters he wrote to her. I dont know how to explain it. Back to that look. It looked so sincere, like you dont even need to hear the words 'I love you' to feel the love that just shines through that look. I'd love to have that.

She looked so silly here, it was so cute.
She looks SO gorgeous here. They look so serene.
