Ooh I met up with Ann today. We went to Lady's Market in Mongkok, Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong, and Sham Shui Po to wander around, and Causeway Bay to go to this street. WHERE I BOUGHT THIS SCARF. I have no idea when I'm going to wear that in Brunei. Rainy day? Quite a bit of shopping today, not as much as Day 1 but it'll do :)
Met at Festival Walk first and dropped by at MNG to see if my cousin was working that day then went to H&M. Ann bought this cute pale pink jacket and I got a new pair of sunglasses. H&M's actually a lot cheaper that Topshop! But I wanted HK to have topshop so badly :( there were so many things online that I wanted to find at topshop!
So then after, at Lady's Market in Mongkok, we were wandering around and I swear, we saw SO many tourists. The sun was literally burning my skin. I tried to find shelter under Ann's umbrella but failed because of how troublesome it was trying to avoid hitting people's head with the umbrella. Nearly bumped into this dude when I wanted to cross over to see something and he gave me the most strangest 'wtf''-ish type look. I dont know, I cant tell what the expression was. Hahaa anyway, it was so embarrasing. Haha so we tried to avoid his group as much as possible. And some of the shops there have like thongs hanging everywhere from the ceiling or the sheet draped over the store. Its like Thong Heaven. There were quite a few shops like those. A few of the thongs were so weird. Disturbing. Other shops had kinky costumes etc. So not like Singapore, in Bugis Street, we went in because Jo wanted to buy condoms for Nicki as a joke but we got kicked out because we kept sniggering.
Dropped by at 'Wongkok Zhong Sam'. I just found out that its called Argyle Center, what a weird name, Argyle. Arrrgyle. Why not just Mongkok Center? How much much simpler. Anyway, Ann bought this cute checkered dress and I bought my own cherry print dress. Weee all these new stuff for school. Makes me all giddy with excitement, NO MORE UNIFORM. I'm still a little indecisive, should I be all melodramatic and burn it? Or should I keep it out of nostalgia.
Oh and I forgot to add, we went to the book store in Festival Walk and I dont know why, but I felt so intrigued, like its the first time I've seen so many Vogue's? Italian, Indian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, British, American. INDIAN? I never knew there was an Indian Vogue. But it felt nice to see so many familiar faces on the covers; Naomi, Claudia Schiffer, Lily Donaldson etc.
Then on the way to dinner, THE TRAIN STOPPED HALFWAY. Man, we thought there was soemthing wrong with the train. So weird.
