I thought USA would have it more easy, but China turns out to be a real pro at three-pointers. The score's really close! The score is 35 - 32 to China, and apparently China has scored 8 three pointers so far. Fucking crazy. Lester said I missed something that Lebron James did. And I missed the replay. HAHA. China's putting up a fight man. after 2nd quarter: 49-37. But anyway, China got owned. Final score: 101-70 to USA.
Dwayne Wade and Yao Ming.Anyway, shit did you guys see Brazil vs Egypt Men's Volleyball? Brazil is amazing. Well I started watching, and it looked like Brazil pretty much had it in the bag, they've got the teamwork communication going on, they've got the power, the height, everything. Then turns out the commentator says Brazil's the #1 team. No wonder. HAHA They are seriously such a brilliant team. Their serves are probably the downside of it though, they've given easy points to Egypt from service errors. If they could brush up on their serving, they wouldve beaten Egypt by a lot. The way they execute their plays are just so quick and they're so in control. Quick hands, setting to one another, and fake spikes, then the ball passes that fake and the next person (who had jumped a second after the faker jumped) spikes the ball, usually with such power that the ball just shoots down to the floor and Egypt cant save it. And not many of the Egyptian spikes can get through the wall of the double-man-block. It's so effective. As they're all so tall. They've got about 5 players all above 2metres.They make it look so easy. I loove to watch the Brazilians play.
Egpyt was the best team in Africa but it cant compete against Brazil. Though Egypt really did all they could, to keep up with Brazil. And they did, quite a bit of the time. I like to watch the Brazilian Captain, Giba. The way he plays is just so great to watch. Nice body, but face is a little.. Quasimodo. Haahha, but from a distance or up close, he's an extraordinary volleyball player. He's a wing-spiker or something, they said the's one of the best, if not the best, wing-ers in the world. Brazil won the match 3 sets to 1. Each set was about 25-19 to Brazil. Around that, I forgot the exact scores but it doesnt matter. HAHA Brazil wins.
Anyway, then at night, I watched Handball. Denmark vs Egypt. I didnt even know the rules and stuff of Handball, but there was this not-bad guy in the Danish team so I was like, oh so what I can learn. Lets watch. Denmark ended up tieing with Egypt. The Danes were leading 20-18 at one point, until Egypt got 3 goals in. What a comeback. The final score was 23-23. But shit, handball is SO aggressive. The Danes seem to be very sturdy. Egyptians keep on getting injured so easily. It's hilarious how aggressive both teams are. Hahahaha this guy fell and this other dude rolled over him. HAHA then this Danish dude (#23) is always attacking people, he headbutted this guy. HAHAA I was like WTF, I wonder why he isnt like.. sent off with yellow cards and stuff. I quite like #19. Hahahahahahah.

I'm already missing Brazil vs Russia on the 14th. :( Thats something that I really really want to watch. And I'm missing USA vs China on the 16th. GOD thats so annoying! Okay, quarterfinals are on the first day of school, two of them in the morning, two of them at night. I'm praying Brazil will play in the one at 8pm. Semifinals are on the 22nd. OH SHIT, thats when we leave for TEMBURONG. MAN. Shit and I'm missing the live finals too, I come back in the evening. What bad timing! Stupid temburong trip. The new people better go, the whole trip is meant to be 'getting to know' your peers or some shit like that, and if all the old ISB people go and the new people dont, then its just so pointless. Man :'( my volleyball matches..
